Our Story

We are a full service interior design firm that got our start in Portland, Oregon. The official opening of our firm is June 1st, 2021 but our story goes farther back than that.

We believe that the power of story that is in our every day lives shape us and our environment. Including our home. Believing that who we are is impacted by how we live. Our desire is to help weave peoples story into their home. We achieve this through thoughtful consideration of the history of the home and the family that now resides there. We believe that in efforts to be a good steward of our clients that we have to listen and co-operate with them. Our goal (and how we define our success) and vision is less of a tangible one but more of an emotional/feeling one.

While we pride ourselves in using good design we find that a pretty picture with no story is not as pleasurable as one that does. Our mission and goal is to weave a story in a home, allowing the architectural characteristics of the home and the style and taste of our clients be aligned through thoughtful design. While being proud of our work we get the passion for what we do by helping people achieve a beautiful home that is timeless, creative, and has “soul”.

When referring to “soul” we mean that feeling of when you get home and you just relax. You are HOME. The world melts away, and now you are in safe place where you can be all you. Whether that means creating a place to curl up and read a good book, entertain in a kitchen with good company, or fall asleep in a space that brings rest to you. That feeling is what we attempt to bring to space. While “pretty pictures” are great to look at we hope to provide our clients with an experience that continues on after the photos are taken.

While we are creatives, we are not design driven. We are “people” driven.

We create spaces for people and business through our creative lens with you at the center. Good design to us starts with people not a pretty picture (but we are confident that it will end in one).

Each job has its own needs. As a result our prices reflect that. Whether it be a color consolation for your exterior, or a complete remodel we would love to work with you on a budget and find a service agreement that meets your needs.

It is the little things in life. We gain inspiration from the little tiny details we find all around us. We then attempt to bring that same detail and joy to the spaces we create. Holistic and timeless designs is our mission. Passion and creativity is our driving force.
